Tube anger

(Written on thursday... here we go!)

Woke up today at 5am, had to go to York.

Raining like crazy, had a shower, some coffee, and left home… The city was still very quiet.

Some crazy ones like me on the streets as well, got the tube and while I was on my way to King’s Cross, the train stopped at London Bridge station, and I witnessed the earliest morning anger against a train ever seen.

The trains was stopped for 1 or 2 minutes, and I saw this lady coming towards it, on super high hills, a laptop bag, Starbucks coffee in one hand, an irritating Iphone in the other… typical “City girl” who thinks, as most of them, that she is extremely important for the company she works for, anyway… rubbish.

So, the “City Girl” is walking, and suddenly the doors of the carriage close.

She was 5 meters away from it. She just ran towards the carriage, stopped in front of it, and without any ceremony she just started kicking the door non stop for about 10 seconds.

Wow, everybody was looking at her while she was having her morning fury moment, proper Michael Douglas style on “Falling Down”

Funny enough when she finally gave up, the coolest and most chilled driver I’ve ever seen just announced for all passengers:

“Ladies and Gentleman, we apologize for this lady’s behaviour. Normally I wouldn’t open the doors but I’m happy to do it for her if you all clap and cheer when she gets in the carriage.”

And the doors were opened, everybody clapped, the lady didn’t understand anything, her chicks were blushed as if they were going to explode and while she tried to drink her coffee, she looked at everybody while everybody was looking at her…

I’m sure she regretted behaving that way… stupid!

Funny start of the day…

Cheers!
