Just having some thoughts about the past while I’m listening to The Killers, fantastic group from UK… If you have the chance, listen to them. Specially the songs “when you were young”, “read my mind”, “Bones” and a classic one: "Mr.Brightside".Well, back to the thoughts, there is a phrase they say which is:
“And sometimes you close your eyes
and see the place where you used to live
when you were young”
That’s just what I have done and just remembered the place I lived when I was a just a boy, remembered the friends, my Brandani bike, my Nash skateboard with green shape and red wheels.
My room, my street, my building, grand parent’s house, birds, dogs I had, my dad, my mom, my little brother, etc…
No special thought at all, just flashes of life, flashes of good and bad things that happened to me and the ones who were around me…
Nice time, I really enjoyed my childhood, and I’m very proud to say that I was a kid until my 18´s, playing on the street with the other neighbors.
While I was in the past, the music has just finished… hum… I´ll play it again, and will keep myself in the past a bit more, hehe!!
